WVTRA

West Virginia Therapeutic Recreation Association

ince 1984, WVTRA has served as a catalyst for bringing together recreation therapists, activity professionals, therapeutic recreation students, and educators from psychiatric hospitals, nursing homes, correction facilities, VA Hospitals, colleges, state hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, substance abuse programs, and community agencies in the state of West Virginia.

Membership in WVTRA puts you in touch with your peers throughout West Virginia. As an affiliate organization of the American Therapeutic Recreation Association, WVTRA members have a direct link to resources of this national organization. In addition, WVTRA maintains close ties with NTRS and the national activity coordinator's association.

Through involvement at our Annual Conference, attendance at educational workshops, and participation in various special interest committees, you can build a network that benefits you, strengthens your field, and keeps WVTRA responsive to your needs.
